African Drums and Call Backs

So, as I stated before, I won't get to do quite as much dancing (unless it's with a DVD) until I find a gig in New York. As always, it's a dragging process, but not all bad. I've met neat people, got call backs from surprising companies, and on the whole, I'm staying optimistic.

On another note, I did get to attend a dance class Friday night. I had the pleasure of attending a class with Djoniba Dance at Capezio Peridance Center near Union Square. It was high energy, friggin' difficult, and a lot of fun. I laughed so much!

Off topic, I've got free first time class coupons if anyone is in New York and interested. I learned that Friday night is the night to go if you want a sweating, drum beating, go all out good time. It's like a dance party if you will. :-)
